Blueprint 2.0: New Lessons for Climate Coalitions
Jack Zhou, Climate Advocacy Lab

Climate coalition work is still hard, so we want to help you out. Join the Climate Advocacy Lab as we premiere the Second Edition of the Blueprint for a Multiracial, Cross-Class Climate Movement Report and Workbook. We will share what we’ve learned in the intervening two years of training cohorts, coaching sessions, and conversations with coalition leaders, including:

  • A new overarching framework based around Strategic Culture
  • Clarification on the purpose and limitations of subgroups in coalition governance and decision-making
  • A closer look at the role of funders and how they can impact coalition leadership
  • Expanded guidance around conflict management and intervention frameworks
  • Theory-crafting about coalition outcomes, or what happens at the end of a coalition’s animating campaign
  • New recommendations for how to apply these insights into your own coalitions!

We’ll also discuss our expanded training opportunities in 2026 to bring these Blueprint insights directly to you and your partners.
