The Lifecycle of a Campaign: How to Collect Lessons Learned after Sunsetting
Kerrina Williams

Campaign, Coalition, and Organizational work are always changing, which can be difficult to reckon with. However, with a dynamic political landscape, differing on the ground needs, and new frontline fights emerging every day, we must learn to deal with change gracefully and with discernment. This training will cover the lifecycle of a campaign, highlighting moments of analysis, reflection, and choice points. We’ll discuss the importance of record and history keeping in a campaign and how to use these practices for campaign growth. We’ll also explore evidence based practices to thoughtfully document and archive a campaign, including methods to collect information and preserve lessons learned.

  • Know the importance of archiving campaign materials and history keeping.

  • Learn best practices and methods to collect information and records
