Poll: In time of COVID, two-thirds of Americans want climate action
- 52% of Black Americans and 49% of Latinos/Latinas say they are more worried about hurricane season this year amidst the pandemic.
- Amid the 2020 hurricane season, two thirds of adults (66%) view addressing climate change as a priority.
- Climate change is a major concern, across educational levels. 70% of those holding college degrees and 63% of those without one rate addressing climate change as an important or top priority.
- Half of adults in southeastern coastal states say they are more worried about hurricane season this year and two thirds say addressing climate change should be a priority
