Learning in Community
In today’s rapidly evolving climate movement, continuous, adaptive, and interconnected learning is more important than ever. Here at the Climate Advocacy Lab, our cohort-based learning model brings together climate advocates and organizers to move through a structured curriculum alongside peers who share common learning goals. Through live sessions, facilitated discussions, peer feedback, coaching, and the opportunity to apply evidence-based learning directly. Participants learn not only from experienced trainers but also from the unique knowledge, perspectives, and experiences of one another.
Learning is inherently social, and peer interaction deepens understanding, strengthens retention, and exposes participants to diverse approaches to unique shared challenges. Here at the Lab, our goal is to create a supportive environment for dialogue, reflection, experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving. Our cohorts aim to ensure psychological safety, connection, and a sense of belonging. Participants will learn to apply new strategies directly to their organizing, campaigns, and advocacy efforts. They will receive feedback based on evidence-based, research-informed strategies and refine their practice in real time, leading to a more equitable, just climate movement.
