Blueprint for Coalitions: Intro to Strategic Culture

We’re bringing the Coalition know-how from our Blueprint training cohorts to the wider Lab community! For the first of this 3-part series on coalitions, we will focus on strategic culture. Strategic culture – shared group values and how we act on them – can keep our coalitions in healthy communication, support conflict that is generative instead of destructive, and build interpersonal connections.

In this training, we will:

• Definite strategic culture and how it shapes your coalition work
• Review common pitfalls in coalition culture and how to combat them
• Share strategies on how to reframe conflict to be generative
• Overview the importance of a clear vision and Theory of Change
