Fighting Digital Climate Disinformation

Recent weeks have seen videos circulating that attempt to discredit the basis for climate science and advertisements featuring blatant greenwashing by the fossil fuel industry's PR machine.
In order to build people power, climate advocates and communicators have to equip themselves with effective countermeasures to galvanize public engagement. Join the Climate Advocacy Lab and our expert panel as we discuss the current state of play of climate disinformation online as well as tactics to combat digital disinformation through inoculation theory. Attendees will learn ways to protect their audiences against the harms of climate disinformation as well as build trust and grow their supporter base.
