Celebrate and learn about climate justice wins as a result of multiracial, cross-class organizing and;
Reflect individually and collectively about the practice of learning and iterating in our work.

It is our hope that by attending, we can co-create a space of learning across the Lab community and inspire one another with concrete lessons on multi-racial, cross-class organizing in the climate movement.

This webinar will give you a clear explanation of what has changed and some clear action steps you can take to keep your email and texting work on track.

In part 4 of our Power & Strategy training series, we will be talking about all things strategy! We will be focusing on why having a power-building strategy is important and the steps to developing a transformative strategy. This training will focus on: 
• Define what a strategy is compared to tactics
• Developing a power-building strategy that is rooted in winning  
• Deepen our understanding of how a strategy is related to our theory of change.

When ToysRUs workers took on their bosses and won $20 million in back pay and severance, what was at the center of the effort? Besides a huge pool of highly motivated folks, it was the unceasing focus on the workers themselves as the people who were going to win this fight. United For Respect, the retail worker’s group that has been innovating on online-to-offline or “blended” organizing for years, applies a simple but effective “Supporter’s Journey” or “Organizing Pathway” that unlocks the power of their leaders at the scale needed to beat major corporations. This two-hour training explores the Supporter Journey as a tool for starting the process of integrating your digital tools with your in-person organizing work.

When you combine total monthly users with specific features, Facebook and Twitter are still among the most effective social media tools for campaigning and organizing. This “102” level training will give you a sense of the strengths and weaknesses of both platforms and evidence-based insights for using them to help build relationships and galvanize action with your supporters, volunteers, and/or members.  
Audience: Organizers and communicators whose work with supporters, volunteers, and/or members includes Facebook and/or Twitter.

A theory of change can help clarify how change happens, what progress and success look like, and what it takes to get there. In part 3 of our Power & Strategy we will focus on: 
• Defining the utility of theory of change in your work 
•  A framework of the different components of a theory of change
•  Step by step instructions for developing or workshopping an existing theory of change

We test as one way to learn the answers to these and many more questions. We test because our assumptions and gut feelings are frequently wrong. “Testing” is the process of carefully trying out variations in what you do and measuring the results so you can learn what works. This webinar will provide a step-by-step guide to the basics of testing and prepare you to conduct simple tests (such as on email or Facebook) and to be an informed partner if working with a research expert on more ambitious projects.
