With just over a month to go before the midterm elections, this week we’re highlighting several of the innovative climate and clean energy initiatives on the ballot in November – including efforts several members of the Lab community are working on! While not intended to be exhaustive, we hope these initiatives (re)inspire your solutions-oriented imagination and highlight evidence-based approaches that can be used in the field.
And if you’re one of the folks working on these efforts, we hope you’ll be in touch to share lessons learned or other relevant resources with the broader community!

Last week, the Lab hosted a Peer Learning Exchange on communicating with conservatives. We had a lively conversation with panelists from Environmental Defense Fund, Chambers for Innovation and Clean Energy, and more. We covered a lot of ground, but if you missed it, don’t fret! We have the recording along with the accompanying slide decks here*. To stay on theme, we thought this would be a great opportunity to revisit the Lab’s learnings and best practices on how to effectively communicate with conservatives and Republicans on climate and clean energy.
